Management Jedi Training
Being a manager is a tough job. One reason is because not only do you have your daily course of work to see to, but the pressure that comes from above and below in the hierarchy of your company. The team you manage may be a little “high maintenance” or require more attention at times than is convenient, while the people on the higher rungs of the ladder you’re on are making demands that can leave you feeling exhausted, burned out, and in doubt of your own abilities. Top that with the loneliness that comes from having to distance yourself, to some professional degree, from your team and your own higher ups, and you’ve got the perfect mix of potential misery.
